In a world where everything seems fake and full of deceitful illusions, where we feel too enslaved to find pleasure, Jean Testanière breaks free from barriers and moves towards the truth beyond appearances and our current understanding of the world we live in.
Inner virtue is often corrupted by the outer. But this intimate richness, as imprecise, fleeting and vague as our feelings, can be illuminated and ultimately become our guiding light.
And so begins a beautiful tale that places us at a spiritual crossroads, where symbolism teaches us that in order to find ourselves, we must first lose ourselves.
Since the age of six, Jean has blossomed into a life out of the ordinary.
He perceives events before they happen, sees entities that have left this world and are still present, and hears the voices of those who have passed on who want to be besides their loved ones.
For seventy years, he has maintained an uninterrupted dialogue with the beyond, to assure us that there is another version of the world than the one we know.
He whispers to us. It's not a secret, but a revelation he wants to share with as many people as possible because his words allow us to recognize what life is really is and about.
It’s not about financial success, as he has never turned it into a profession. While some want wealth, fame and success, Jean only wants to offer the luxury of his knowledge that life doesn’t end with death, and that this is only one stop along our journey. He wants everyone to discover that life is a constant source of astonishment, discovery and growth.
Anyone who has spoken with Jean can attest to his ability to open your mind and vision about what the purpose of life is. He reveals a new dimension to which we know nothing.
One that can teach us a new meaning of our lives. He dispels the darkness that blinds us, and frees us from the fear of the total nothingness of death. Overcoming the enemy of fear, gives us the freedom to act and live more fulfilling lives.
But don’t be mistaken, this life spent helping people hasn’t been smooth and painless.
He too has known his share of wounds, humiliation and loneliness. He didn't choose this anomaly of being in the “middle”, between the heavens and earth. He gradually accepted it in order to help others.
He guides the destitute, the downtrodden, the marginalized towards the light, helping to spread happiness and self-esteem. He doesn’t just illuminate, but fortifies your beliefs and presence in this world, making your existence simpler and freer.
From this endless cycle of desire, satisfaction, and boredom that make up our vain earthly trajectory, Jean gives us a good reason to stop looking. To stop wandering.
To stop being shipwrecked on this ocean of futility and catastrophe.
He, who lives on the shores of the Mediterranean, gives us a positive signal from up high in the skies, and it feels good.
It's a celebration of the life that goes on afterwards, beyond which there are many who await us.
To deepen the mystery, we still need to find the link between the small “I” of each of us and the celestial grandeur, for there is an energetic bridge between our material world and the more spiritual, more indescribable world in which the absent ones find themselves.
Between doubt and the certainty that constitutes us, there is a breath.
It's the breath that makes us live to believe, at last, in the truth of the unknown.
That which we do not see, but which nevertheless exists, and which Jean calls the force of heaven.
Julien and Aline Testanière are delighted to announce the birth of their son Jean, Antonin, Julien in Toulon. It was an “en caul birth” which means he was wrapped in “Mother Mary’s Mantle”. It’s a special birth where the amniotic sac doesn’t burst and the baby is born “en caul” — completely inside a jelly-like bubble. It’s considered a good omen, the expression of an extraordinary destiny, and the mark of unprecedented good fortune.
He is the youngest of three siblings. Marcelle is the elder sister. Mireille is the youngest.
1954 – Death of Julien Testanière. Jean is 6 years old.
“All my life I have endeavored to follow in the steps of my father, whose profession as a bailiff had brought him into close contact with misery in its most banal and cruel forms. The night before I was admitted to hospital to assess the maturation of my skeleton, a soft, clear voice echoed in the silence of the night: “Don't worry, Jean, I'll be fine. That same year, on his 15th birthday, Jean's mother took him to see clairvoyants Germaine Lanteri and Irma Salmeron to confirm her suspicions and her son's abilities.
1964 – “Predictions become more regular and accurate. It bothered me less and less. My mother used to invite her relatives to test my recent prowess.“ His schooling was chaotic and unstable, and as a result, he had to repeat the fourth grade after repeating the fourth and seventh grades. He entered the Collège Beaussier in La Seyne sur Mer. The local school exempts him from boarding. He slept in his own bed every night, devoting all his free time to music, his new passion. Il fait son entrée au collège Beaussier de la Seyne sur Mer. Établissement implanté dans sa commune le dispense d’internat. Il dort chaque soir dans son lit et consacre tout son temps libre à la musique, sa nouvelle passion. “To conform to the standards of the time, I reinforced my resemblance to Sacha Distel. “This gift developed a little more every day. 1969 to 1974 – His maternal uncle Joseph, a team leader, sent him to the military testing center on the Ile du Levant in the Var region of France. That would be my purpose in life.“

For the first time, a person who has passed, speaks through me. I’m his vessel. “It was my voice, but in the words of a man who had died in a diving accident. My body had never been taken over in this way. I was being taken over. Whoever took possession of me was willing to reveal truths in exchange for my cooperation. He wanted to provide answers to the great existential questions. Does God exist? How was the universe formed ? I had the feeling I was breaking an ancestral law, entering a forbidden zone with a “DANGER” sign flashing red at the entrance. What would faith be without mystery?

His primary school teachers used to say he was always daydreaming.
On earth, fortunately, he has Jeff, pragmatic for both of them. They're yin and yang. Friends for over half a century, and even roommates for the past few years, they complement each other in the many adventures they narrate with a single voice. “My life is a patchwork quilt”, Jean jokes.
A difference that stems from an unfulfilling and lonely childhood.
The affirmation of a gift - The gift of knowledge /
“If the people who read me learn to cultivate the positive, I will have achieved my goal.”
« As a child, I spoke words, and by the age of ten I was saying all kinds of things: so-and-so died, you lost your brother, ... to people I didn't know.
By evoking in this book what I intimately consider to be a gift, I'm also immersing myself in a rather special childhood, telling the story of a rather peculiar boy uncomfortable being himself, my spiritual journey, and the friendships that this gift enabled me to forge.
I also talk about how I searched for myself, then finally found and accepted myself.
